Akiba Leisman co-founded and serves as the Executive Chairman and a Director of Sailfish Royalty Corp. Previously, Akiba was Executive Chairman and Interim CEO of Marlin Gold Mining Ltd., leading the company through the spinout of Sailfish and the acquisition of Marlin by Golden Reign Resources Ltd. Akiba would then go on to form Mako Mining Corp.

Mr. Lostritto has an extensive background in mining capital markets and working with companies across the globe since 1997. Paolo has helped assess different companies/projects and helped finance them as they advanced through exploration, development, and production. Some of the companies where Paolo was involved early include: Kirkland Lake Gold, Novagold and Lake Shore Gold in 2004; Romarco Minerals in 2006; Victoria Gold and Volta Resources in 2009.

Mr. Lostritto is currently serving as the Chairman of Signature Resources Ltd., which is focused on high grade gold exploration in Ontario. Paolo is a co-founder and board member of Interstellar Mining Inc which is focused on leveraging a leading Canadian space mining robotics group (Deltion Innovations Ltd.) along with Watts, Griffis, and McOuat Ltd.’s space mining group to develop and produce energy commercially for the rapidly growing space industry. Over his career, Mr. Lostritto was a Director of the Mining Equity Research at National Bank Financial and worked in equity research at Wellington West, Scotia Capital and TD Securities. He served as an Independent Director at Savary Gold Corp. which was sold to SEMAFO in 2019.

Mr. Lostritto holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological and Mineral Engineering in Rock Mechanics from the University of Toronto and he is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.

Walter Reich is a chartered professional accountant and has worked for over 30 years in the offshore industry. He has resided British Virgin Islands since January 2006 after having worked in London for 6 years in a variety of capacities for the Lionhart hedge fund group with USD 900 million under management including CFO, Compliance Officer, Marketing Coordinator and Member of the Management Committee. Walter graduated Cum Laude from Laurentian University, Canada, with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Since moving to the British Virgin Islands in 2001, Alessandro Palladino has worked for over 25 years in the offshore fund and pension industry. Prior to moving to the British Virgin Islands, he graduated from University of Padua with a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering.

Asheef Lalani was appointed as an independent director to the board of Sailfish Royalty Corp. and Mako Mining Corp. in 2023. Mr. Lalani graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics and Masters of Accounting, earned the CA/CPA designation in 2002 and is a CFA charterholder since 2003. Asheef first started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998 and went on to become a portfolio manager at UBS Securities. Currently, Mr. Lalani is the Chief Investment Officer at Berczy Park Capital – a private family office in Toronto, Canada.
